Larchfield’s Fleet Management service means we will inspect every aircraft type in your fleet and make sure we add every internal and external decal to our database. This should make sure we avoid unnecessary down time when aircraft are on check as any decal requirements can be met on a 24-48 hr lead time.
To provide this service we would need fleet access for perhaps 1 or 2 days to copy all the decals on the various aircraft, is this is not possible we would need the AMM chapter 11 so we could put together a package for you. In most cases we can already provide a full list of decals complete with actual size pictures to make identification easy for both the engineer with the requirement and the purchaser with the requisition.
Consignment stock is one of the most effective ways of ensuring no time is lost due to the lack of mandatory markings. Larchfield will provide all the decals that may be required on a weekly or monthly basis thus ensuring every decal that you will ever need is in your stores. Going AOG for a decal will become a thing of the past. Then every week or month you run a report on your decal usage and send that to us and we will then invoice you for what you have used and send replacements. The more popular decals such as “fasten seatbelt while seated” will be supplied in larger quantities and the scarcer decals in perhaps ones and twos.
